The Dean of Students is the chief student affairs officer for the NYIT Bahrain campus and represents the students to the university through participation in campus planning and academic development. He also serves as student advocate in individual cases in which students require help with administrative issues.

The Dean of Students also charged with oversight of issues related to student behavior inside and outside of the classroom through ensuring compliance with the Academic Integrity Policy and the Student Code of Conduct. In this role, the Dean of Students investigates possible violations and adjudicates cases.
