The Annual Commencement Ceremony took place at the Gulf International Convention and Exhibition Center at the Gulf Hotel (Manama) beginning at 11 AM on June 4, 2006. Joining the NYIT Bahrain campus community there were dignitaries from the home campus in New York including NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Board of Trustees Chair Linda Davila, Vice President Robert Vogt, Vice President Joe Ford, Dean David Decker and Special Assistant to the President Ms. Victoria Pfeiffer.		The ceremony was followed by a press conference and reception for all in attendance. Later that same day a festive Alumni Dinner was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to recognize and honor NYIT´s newest graduates.
